A New Zealand citizen left the bodies of two children in a product storage area for several years. She was handed over to New Zealand authorities at an airport near Seoul.

South Korea’s Ministry of Justice said the murder case filed against her will be tried in New Zealand. The 42-year-old woman was arrested last August after two children’s bodies were found in her luggage.

She was handed over to New Zealand authorities at Incheon International Airport on Monday (November 28) afternoon. The ministry said that some important information has also been given at this time.

The police arrested her from Alsan last September. She is a New Zealand citizen but was born in South Korea. According to information provided by the Immigration Police, she returned to her place of birth in 2018.

The incident came to light when a family bought a trailer full of abandoned produce. The bodies of two children were found in the luggage inside those goods. They are believed to be between five and 10 years old.
