Cambodia Casino Fire Kills 19 4 Killed By Security Forces In Kashmir

At least 15 students were killed and many more injured in a collision between two buses in India’s northeastern state of Manipur. This tragic accident happened in Nonei district of the state on Wednesday (December 21) morning.

A police officer told the local media, “After seeing the scene, we think that the accident happened because the driver lost control on the hilly road.”

Citing administration and local sources, various Indian media said that the passengers of the two buses involved in the accident were students-teachers and staff of Thambalnoo Higher Secondary School in Yarpak, Thoubal district of Manipur. On Wednesday morning, they left for an educational tour in two buses from the school campus, the destination was Khoupum village. On the way, the two buses collided on the mountain road of Longsai Tubong area of ​​Nonei District.

Soon after the accident, the police and locals reached the spot and started rescue operations. The injured were rescued and first sent to the nearby Bishnupur District Hospital. Later some people were shifted from there to government hospital in the capital Imphal. Local police officials said that the death toll is expected to rise further. Because the condition of some of the injured is serious.
